A feed that belongs to you
Most feeds are assembled to hold your attention. Forage is assembled to answer a question: what happened today in the things I actually care about?
You bring the sources. Forage brings the reading. Every item you see arrived because a source you added published it and it cleared the interest rules you set.
What it is not
Forage is not a social network, and it is not a feed ranked by someone else's engagement model. There is no ad slot to fill, so nothing is optimized to keep you scrolling.
It is also not a walled garden. What you write on Forage is published on your own subdomain with its own RSS feed, so it can leave whenever you want it to.
Private by construction
Forage is self-hosted and invite-only, with a waitlist for everyone else. Your sources, your keywords, and your reading history are yours; there are no third-party analytics and no data brokering.
